High-performance technology

Opton 8000 is a scanning laser with an average power of up to 22 W, available in different configurations: 650 nm, 810 nm, 980 nm, 1064 nm, CO₂, CO₂ bi-power 810 nm, CO₂ bi-power 980 nm, CO₂ bi-power 1064 nm and Multipower (810 nm + 1064 nm + 1210 nm).

The CO₂ technology laser is produced by Mectronic in the rehabilitation field: this specific technology enables the 10,600 nm wavelength, which is strongly absorbed by water. For this reason, the Opton 8000 is one of the highest quality lasers with the best results: the benchmark in scanning laser therapy.


Our new cutting-edge model:
The Opton 8000 Multipower 22 W has three wavelengths: 810 nm, 1064 nm and 1210 nm. The first triggers photobiomodulation by penetrating tissue, the second is ideal for pro- and anti-inflammatory action and the third is strongly absorbed by water. In addition, this laser uses the most advanced and modern semiconductor technology to offer unequalled energy efficiency.
Wavelengths
The Opton 8000 is available in several models, each with multiple wavelengths and the possibility to combine them:
650 nm
Absorbed mainly by melanin, with excellent energy exchange at surface and medium depth.
Inhibits bacterial proliferation and promotes cell growth, enabling faster healing of wounds, sores and ulcers.
810 nm
Accelerates ATP production by activating the haemoglobin oxidative process.
The correct energy supply promotes regeneration of muscle and tendon tissue.
980 nm
Absorbed mainly by water, it optimises action on thermo and mechanoreceptors.
With the E²C mode, it interacts well with the peripheral nervous system for a rapid analgesic effect, thanks also to Gate Control.
1064 nm
 
Highly directional, it channels the right dose of energy onto the noxa, with excellent synergy between antalgic effect and control of inflammatory processes, as well as deep activation of metabolic processes.
1210 nm
Absorbed well by water, converting the energy transmitted by laser therapy into heat.
Creates thermal gradients at tissue level, stimulating microcirculation and cell oxygenation.
10.600 nm
 
Extremely water-absorbed, it creates thermal gradients at tissue level, thus stimulating microcirculation and cellular oxygenation and reducing pain sensation.
