APS WAS BORN
Engineer Gian Carlo Aloisini founded APS: Azionamenti Polivalenti Statici together with other partners.
 
 
 
 
1983
APS BECAME MECTRONIC
A company which specialises in the OEM production of advanced medical equipment.
 
 
 
1983
WHITE ROOM

Mectronic sets up its first "White room" for the production of custom laser heads.

 
 
 
 
1984
THE FIRST LASER
Design and production of the first super-pulsed semiconductor laser system.
 
 
 
1985
THE FIRST SCANNER LASER

Mectronic designs and builds the first scanner laser available in four different configurations:
He-Ne, GaAs, CO₂ e Nd:Yag.

 
 
 
1986
MECTRONIC PRESENTS ITS INNOVATIVE LINE

During the Intersan trade fair in Milan, Mectronic presents its innovative line for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
At the same time as the trade fair, the stylised M symbol of Mectronic appears for the first time, and from this point onwards it becomes an integral part of the company’s branding.

THE FIRST THERAPEUTIC ND:YAG LASER IN THE WORLD

Mectronic designs the first Nd:YAG laser in the world with continuous emission for physical therapy.
High-powered laser therapy is born.

 
 
 
1988
MECTRONIC LASERS AT THE PARIS-DAKAR RALLY
Mectronic supplies its electro-medical equipment exclusively to the medical team of the Paris-Dakar rally.
 
 
 
 
 
1989-1992
Mectronic designs and builds many innovative electromedical devices.
 
 
 
1992
NEW PREMISES
Mectronic opens its new production centre in Grassobbio, Bergamo.
 
 
 
1994
SUCCESSFUL COLLABORATION
Mectronic’s Nd:YAG lasers are used by football players and high-level athletes.

200 ND:YAG LASERS INSTALLED
Mectronic celebrates 200 Nd:YAG systems installed in Italy.

FP3 SYSTEM
Mectronic designs, patents and produces the first semiconductor laser in the world with three wavelengths (FP3 System).

PARTNERSHIP
Zimmer Medizin Systeme, one of the world’s largest companies specialising in the production and distribution of electronic medical equipment, selects Mectronic as its partner for the development of its new range of therapeutic lasers.
 
 
 
1998
DOUBLE WAVELENGTH LASER
Mectronic starts production of the first systems featuring double wavelength laser 810nm + 980nm 7000mW featuring liquid cooling free semiconductor technology.
 
 
 
 
 
 
1999-2002
THE NEW PHYSIOTHERAPY RANGE

Mectronic designs and builds many electronic medical devices and therapeutic lasers.
The models Opton, Opton 8000 and Centaurus Line are launched.

EXAND
Exand is born, the evolution of Nd:YAG with continuous emission, designed and built by Mectronic.
 
 
 
2005
1500 OPTON 2 INSTALLED AROUND THE WORLD
Mectronic and Zimmer Medizin Systeme celebrate 1500 Opton 2 lasers sold worldwide.
 
 
 
2006
OPTON PRO

Zimmer Medizin Systeme reaffirms its faith in the Mectronic technology.
The development of the new Opton Pro laser System begins.

PHARON DIATHERMY
Mectronic design is the first tecar therapy multi frequency system manual automatic and automatic sequential application modes.

THE FIRST ECOLASER

Mectronic introduces the world’s first 1064nm semiconductor technology.

The first 1064 nm Ecolaser is born with lower energy consumption, no liquid cooling and no need for periodic maintenance.

SKIN TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Mectronic patents the first system to measure, process and monitor skin temperature during laser therapy treatment. Ennio Aloisini, the son of the company’s founder, finishes his degree with his thesis, graduating from the University of Bergamo Industrial IT Engineering faculty.

OEM
Many domestic and international companies select Mectronic technology of for use in their own laser and Tecar equipment. Mectronic becomes one of the world’s largest producers of OEM electro-medical equipment.

E²C: PATENTED STOCHASTIC EMISSION SYSTEM
Mectronic creates and patents the innovative stochastic emission mode with low thermal impact, which generates laser impulses with variable intensity and duration.

Mectronic becomes the partner of Milanello Training Center.

CHELT THERAPY

CHELT Therapy is born - the synergy of three wavelength high-power laser therapy and dry cryotherapy at -30°.

WORLDWIDE
Mectronic starts its process of internationalisation.

ITO -Japan’s largest and oldest medical company, with more than 100 years of experience, selects Mectronic as its partner for the development and production of its new range of Laser, Tecar and shockwave devices.
